As part of the Breathe Baltimore air quality monitoring program, become the steward of an air quality sensor located in West or South Baltimore. Check that the sensor is operational and download air quality data to EJJI and SERC.

Help scientists collect water quality data in the Chesapeake Bay! Chesapeake Water Watch is a joint project between the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC) and City College of New York (CCNY).

The EJ Griot Project will consist of a dynamic summer intensive training, which will build Millennial and Generation Z leaders’ (ages 22-40) capacity to become environmental justice ambassadors through political advocacy, activism, and organizing. The knowledge and skills obtained in the program are transferable and will be applicable in a plethora of ways.

The Institute for Journalism & Natural Resources plans to bring 15 journalists to Montana in October, and introduce them to a wide range of subject matter experts including Tribal members, ecologists, wildlife and fisheries biologists, climate scientists, ranchers, land managers, and other stakeholders whose life or livelihood is based on the landscape.
